The snap closure is innovative in the way that it runs down the chest and then all the way around the back - to just above the butt.  Perfect for lounging, sleeping or as an extra layer of warmth.  Although the size selector is normally by waist, height and chest size is a big factor since the waist has plenty of stretch in this garment.  Shorter people would want small, taller people need larger sizes.
